I can remember my school cookery lessons in the early 70s when we were taught how to use exotic things like garlic and I brought home what I had made - a casserole I think (probably beef bourginon) and my dad said he ws not eating it as he wasn't French and refused it as it had garlic in it.I love it too - my favourite thing when I go to Spain is allioli which is garlic mayo served everywhere with bread.Alisonhttp://stitchesoftime.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
